We are looking for a " Sales Director " for our client, a leading company in logistics and supply chain solutions, based in Istanbul.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in logistics, contract logistics or international freight forwarding sales
- At least 5 years in a managerial role, with proven track record in team leadership and strategic sales management
- Strong knowledge in contract logistics, e‑commerce fulfillment, and cross-border transportation (road, sea, air)
- Experience in managing enterprise B2B customer relationships and long-term commercial partnerships
- Skilled in P&L management, sales forecasting, CRM tools, and reporting
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical mindset, result-oriented, and able to lead growth in a dynamic market
- Fluent in English; additional language is a plus
- Istanbul-based or willing to relocate
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage sales activities across contract logistics, e‑commerce logistics, and international freight operations
- Develop and execute the company’s sales and business development strategies in local and international markets
- Manage and expand an experienced sales team, ensuring KPI achievement and customer satisfaction
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with strategic accounts and global partners
- Collaborate closely with operations, pricing, and finance teams to ensure customer-centric, profitable solutions
- Provide regular performance reports to senior management and contribute to business planning
