SALES DIRECTOR

Job Type: Permanent/Full-Time

We are looking for a " Sales Director " for our client, a leading company in logistics and supply chain solutions, based in Istanbul.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in logistics, contract logistics or international freight forwarding sales
  • At least 5 years in a managerial role, with proven track record in team leadership and strategic sales management
  • Strong knowledge in contract logistics, e‑commerce fulfillment, and cross-border transportation (road, sea, air)
  • Experience in managing enterprise B2B customer relationships and long-term commercial partnerships
  • Skilled in P&L management, sales forecasting, CRM tools, and reporting
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical mindset, result-oriented, and able to lead growth in a dynamic market
  • Fluent in English; additional language is a plus
  • Istanbul-based or willing to relocate

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage sales activities across contract logistics, e‑commerce logistics, and international freight operations
  • Develop and execute the company’s sales and business development strategies in local and international markets
  • Manage and expand an experienced sales team, ensuring KPI achievement and customer satisfaction
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with strategic accounts and global partners
  • Collaborate closely with operations, pricing, and finance teams to ensure customer-centric, profitable solutions
  • Provide regular performance reports to senior management and contribute to business planning
